About us

allertonroadmedicalcentreMain

We are a lively, friendly Practice in North Hackney with the aim to improve and develop in order to provide the best possible service to our patients. We treat each patient as an individual and care to their needs to the best of our ability.

Our ultimate goal is for each patient to be satisfied and happy.

How the NHS uses your information

Confidential information from your medical records can be used by the NHS to improve the services offered so we can provide the best possible care for everyone.

The information along with your postcode and NHS number but not your name, are sent to a secure system where it can be linked with other health information.

This allows those planning NHS services or carrying out medical research to use information from different parts of the NHS in a way which does not identify you.

You have a choice. If you are happy for your information to be used in this way you do not have to do anything.

If you have any concerns or wish to prevent this from happening, please speak to practice staff or ask at reception for a copy of the leaflet ”How information about you helps us to provide better care.”

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Allerton Road Medical Centre in the last financial year was £26,810.00 before tax and National Insurance.  This is for 7 part time GPs and 3 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months.

2017 to 2018 gender pay gap data : The Hurley Group

The Hurley Group are required to carry out Gender Pay Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. This involves carrying out six calculations that show the difference between the average earnings of men and women in our organisation.
We are required to publish the results on our own website and a government website.

At the time of the survey (31st March 2017), The Hurley Group employed 259 female employees compared to 69 males at the snapshot date of the 31st March 2017 and as seen from the percentage figures from the gender pay gap quartiles there are a higher proportion of men in the upper quartile. This would be because there is a higher proportion of male GPs compared to non-clinical male staff. The results of these statutory calculations are as follows:

Hourly Rate
Women’s hourly rate is:
11.9%
LOWER 11.9% (mean) LOWER 0.1% (median)

Pay quartiles How many men and women are in each quarter of the employer’s payroll:
Top quartile: MEN 29% WOMEN 71% Upper middle quartile: MEN 13% WOMEN 87% Lower middle quartile: MEN 23% WOMEN 77% Lower quartile: MEN 18% WOMEN 82%

Bonus Pay
Women’s bonus pay is:
100%
LOWER 100% (mean) LOWER 100% (median) Who received bonus pay: OF MEN 1.3% OF WOMEN 0%

The Hurley Group confirm that the above information has been prepared from our payroll data on the snapshot date and fairly represents the Gender Pay information for The Hurley Group.
